Making A Purchase On Line
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for your billing and shipping details so that we can complete your order. Payment is required in full before we are able to begin to process your order.
We accept Delta, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo, Visa, and Visa Electron using PayPal secure payment pages. You do not have to have a PayPal account in order to use their pages as they now accept all types of credit/debit cards. You will receive a payment receipt from our PayPal registered email address email@example.com. Please ensure that you return to the Merchant website (The Gift of Glass) once payment has been made using PayPal as you will be shown your order receipt.
Making A Purchase By Telephone
You can place your order with a credit/debit card payment over the telephone by calling 01635 296240.
Confirmation of Order
A copy of your order will accompany goods to the purchaser’s address. If you require an invoice for your records please contact us and we can send one out. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfil an order or a part of an order, or if there are any errors in a placed order we will advise you as soon as it is possible.
All prices are in GBP (Great British Pound).
Shipping And Handling
You will be able to select your delivery method to suit your needs.
Standard delivery (2-5 days) uses either royal mail or Hermes depending on the size and weight of your order.
Express delivery (next day) uses either royal mail or DHL, UPS depending on the size and weight of your order.
Saturday delivery if available in your area is booked with DHL or UPS guaranteed to be delivered on a Saturday.
In stock items will be posted within 2 working days of receiving your order and payment. Bespoke, handmade products should be with you 3-4 weeks from receiving your order, prints or artwork. If you have selected the speedy delivery option on our bespoke products, please be aware we may need to send out your order without a proof being sent, so please take care when typing your personalisation.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We do not charge VAT.
Payment/Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website you can select to make a secure payment using a Paypal account, or you can select with a debit/credit card.
We guarantee your satisfaction.
Care of your glassware
We recommend hand washing of all of our glassware with warm soapy water and polish dry with a clean soft cloth.
Due to the handmade nature of most of our glassware, some items may vary in size or shape from that shown. All sizes are for guidance only. Small bubbles or imperfections may also arise – these are due to the handmade nature of the products and cannot be avoided. Items that have more than 3 bubbles or have a bubble that breaks the surface of the glass are not sent out. Once the order has been placed and approved if using our bespoke service, it cannot be changed or cancelled. Only faulty or damaged personalised items can be exchanged or returned.
Each piece of glassware has a set area for engraving included in the price. If your artwork exceeds this area, we will contact you so you can choose to have the artwork resized or additional charges will apply.
Whilst we endeavour to match your requirements, each piece is hand-made and individual. We are not able to match colours and styles exactly and we can only interpret photos, pictures and reproductions supplied to us. It is up to you to ensure that important details are brought to our attention before approving any proofs.
The Gift of Glass cannot be held responsible, accountable or liable for any loss or damage to your finished pieces, howsoever caused, once the finished pieces are in the hands of a postal/delivery agent.
The Gift of Glass reserve the right to discontinue products, to change specifications or price of its products at any time without notice and without incurring any obligation whatsoever.
